Symptoms Of Gonorrhea
Gonorrhea, alternatively called the clap, is brought on by the Neisseria gonorrhea bacteria. Bacteria can be found in eyes, throat, vagina, penis, and rectum. Consequently, contact with any of these areas may lead to gonorrhea.
Gonorrhea is common especially for women and affects mostly those from 15 to 30 years old. Adolescents, poor people living in urban areas and southern states and African-Americans are more vulnerable to this disease.
Men and women display different genital gonorrhea symptoms. Gonorrhea is sometimes difficult to diagnose in women since women may display no symptoms at all. In general, symptoms of gonorrhea emerge between 2 and 10 days after infection.
Symptoms of gonorrhea for women in the early stages include bleeding after sexual intercourse and frequent as well as painful urination. Later-stage symptoms include fever, vomiting, bleeding between periods and nausea. For men, symptoms of gonorrhea include painful urinating, swollen testicles and discharge from the penis.
In men gonorrhea may result in reduced fertility and long-term pelvic pain. In women it might lead to Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, which in its turn can cause infertility.
People suffering from gonorrhea undergo a great risk of contracting HIV or Chlamydia. Therefore it’s essential to undergo tests as soon as possible and take preventive measures.
Gonorrhea might be cured with antibiotics, like ceftriaxone, ciprofloxacin, cefixime or ofloxacin with azithromycin, doxycycline. By the way, make sure that your partner is treated simultanously with you.

Kinda depends if you are a male or female. For Males, the usual symptoms are burning sensation while urinating, and an oozing liquid from the tip of the penis. There may also be a bit of an aching sensation in the testicles.
Female symptoms are often less noticeabe, but also some burning when urinating, but not always.
